A Haven of Hope to Uganda's Children

Every child deserves love, education, and a safe place to call home. Help us transform lives one child at a time.

Our Story

Founded in 2024, Revival for Hope Initiative, was established with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide a safe, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children in rural Uganda.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a nurturing environment with access to quality education, healthcare, nutritious meals, and most importantly, the love and care they need to thrive.

Through the generosity of supporters around the world, we are transforming the lives of over 70 children, giving them hope for a brighter future.

Our Mission

Revival for Hope Initiative, founded in Buwama – Jalamba, Mpigi District, exists to rescue, care for, and rehabilitate vulnerable children and orphans affected by poverty, loss, and injustice.

We believe every child deserves love, dignity, and the chance to dream again. Through faith-driven compassion, we aim to give hope to Uganda’s street children — one life at a time.

What We Do

  • Provide Shelter and Food – A safe place to sleep and daily meals for children who once lived on the streets.
  • Offer Care and Counseling – Emotional and spiritual support to help them heal from grief and trauma.
  • Teach Life Skills – Basic training to prepare children for self-reliance and a better future.
  • Share God’s Word – We show every child that they are loved deeply by God and have a purpose in life.

We started with just 15 street children, and today, by God’s grace, our family has grown and we are caring for more than 70 children. With a small income from side jobs and donations, we provide food, clothing, and shelter — but the need is great, and resources are limited.

Why We Exist

Our Founder’s Story

Praise God!
I’m Nsubuga Taddeo, a born-again Christian (People of the Book) from Uganda with roots in Rwanda. My life’s journey has been one of pain, loss, and redemption.

I lost my father at the age of 3, my two siblings at ages 10 and 13, and my mother when I was 15 — all due to AIDS.  With no family to care for me, I found myself on the streets of Bwaise, sleeping outside, hungry, and hopeless. To escape my pain, I turned to drugs and the chaos of street life.

But when I was 19, living on the streets of Kampala, I had a powerful encounter with God — and everything changed. That encounter gave me a new purpose: to help others who were walking the same painful path I once did. This is why Revival for Hope Initiative exists.

The Need in Uganda

More than 15,000 children aged 7–14 live on the streets in Uganda.
Many are orphans who lost their parents to disease. Some are abandoned or abused, while others are forced into labor, early marriages, or child trafficking.

With no food, education, or care, these children lose hope — surviving by picking garbage, using drugs, or joining gangs. Our mission is to reach them before it’s too late and restore their dignity through God’s love.

Scripture That Inspires Us

Matthew 25:40
“And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to

you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it unto me.'

James 1:27
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”

John 21:15–17
“Feed my lambs… Take care of my sheep…”
